Quite a number of actors have spoken about discrimination in Nigeria movie industry, which is mostly between the English speaking sector and the Yoruba speaking sector. Some Yoruba actors often complain about been discriminated and are perceived as illiterates because they speak an indigenous language. Despite the said discrimination,some Yoruba actors and actresses sometimes features in English movies. Nollywood actress,Doris Simeon in a recent interview with pulse TV, revealed that she is not aware of any discrimination clamored by some of her colleagues in the industry.
