Akwa Ibom House Of Rep Member Arrested For OND Certificate Forgery

Akwa Ibom state House of Representatives member, Nse Bassey Ekpenyoung was arrested in connection to a certificate forgery scam.

He ran into trouble when an NGO petitioned the EFCC alleging that he committed perjury and Financial Crimes.

They alleged that he submitted forged ordinary National Diploma(OND) and statement of Result from Abia State Polytechnic to INEC to run for office, and fraudulently obtained salaries , allowances and other financial benefits from his contrived certificate.

Investigations by the EFCC showed that Ekpenyoung did not attend the Polytechnic as alleged by the petitioner and the National Diploma did not emanate from the institution. ...
But he may be pardon,since he is doing well in tge House of Representatives.
