Nollywood Actress,Lola Alao Converts To Islam

Yoruba movie actress, Lola Alao, has reportedly converted to Islam.

She was said to have left her Christian roots and changed her name Rhodiat.

An Islamic scholar named Yusuf Adepoju broke the news on Facebook with a message congratulating the film star.

Lola Alao, a major player in the Yoruba movie industry has had made a name for herself in the movie industry.

Quite a number of actors have spoken about discrimination in Nigeria movie industry, which is mostly between the English speaking sector and the Yoruba speaking sector.
