FIRS Seals Peter Obi's Company And Other Companies In Lagos, Kano Over Tax Debt

Yesterday, the Federal Inland Revenue Servics (FIRS) shut down companies in Kano, Lagos and Onitsha over Outstanding tax liabilities.

In Onitsha, the warehouse of Next International Company owned by Former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi was sealed.

The company has tax liabilities of N20.4million having failed to pay company income tax, withholding Tax and Education Tax since 2006.

In Lagos FIRS sealed the offices of Secure ID limited, Ikoyi over a tax debt for N151 million.

In Kano Sani Brothers Transport Company Limited, Triumph Nigeria Limited, Multisystem Nigeria Limited, North West Cable Manufacturers limited were sealed.
